Tracking a Venezuelan-affiliated Tanker 'Pursued' by the US Coast Guard

We are analyzing video footage and photographs posted this morning that show the aftermath of a reported car bomb blast that Russian officials state killed a senior soldier in Moscow.
Russian authorities stated that Lt Gen Fanil Sarvarov was inside the car that detonated and that he later died of his injuries. An investigation is currently ongoing.
The initial step to check the location of where the pictures originated relied on social media reports indicating the blast happened on Yasenevaya Ulitsa in the southern part of the Russian capital.
We used panoramic mapping services on Google Maps and the local mapping service Yandex to match the unique yellow colour of a nearby apartment building captured in the video.
Identifying additional structures, streetlights and the street layout confirmed the exact location the footage were taken.
Additionally, we verified that the videos were new and that the visuals had not undergone digital alteration.
